Why am I most at peace in the early mornings, away from everyone and out in nature? I suppose perhaps that may be because God is near in the still and quiet... And perhaps that is why I was able to get up despite having only a small amount of sleep the other morning, to go fishing. The draw to have my own quiet and peaceful time alone with God was enough to make me go. And I would like to go again, soon. It was so beautiful, and peaceful. I had such a calming time there by the lake.
At times I felt I was fishing in the sky...
The cobwebs on the trees caught my eye... They were so... beautiful.
Thursday morning I went by myself, but Friday morning I went again with Hana. Both times I got up around five thirty, and dug worms (the second time Hana dug the worms), then headed out at dawn to the lake. Neither times I caught anything, or even got any bites, but there were numerous fish jumping out in the water. They made such a lovely sound. The first day, when I was by myself, the morning was so clear. The sun reflected on the waters, and a few clouds made a beautiful design on the heavens. At times I felt like I was fishing in the sky, the reflection was so perfect. The second morning there was fog everywhere, and it was so calming.

Thanks for taking me, Joelle. It was a lot of fun, and so peaceful and beautiful. It really was a gorgeous morning...Tho you should have said that when you and I went, I caught a baby bass. And that you got the little guy off my hook for me. I was too...afraid I'd hurt him if I unhooked that hook from his eye. But big sis did it for me. Thanks :)
