And here are some pictures from what should be the best day of each year. Thanksgiving is definitely a most wonderful time, and although I can't post any pictures of the people that make it so lovely, I can of other things.
Can you see how decrepit the pie crust looks? If I weren't such a lover of homemade substances, I'd quit at pie crusts and buy storebought ones. If you didn't notice, we really had trouble with the piecrusts. Unfortunately.
And those dishes weren't the only ones. That was just a small percent of what actually needed washed.
Don't tell me this is gross OR unsanitary. It's not. It's just turkey.
All the pies we made plus the popcorn balls.
And the sweetest sign made on my Grandmama's chalkboard by my cousin's son.
Our friends made popcorn balls, and we found them quite delectable. I advise for my stalkers to make popcorn balls a family tradition. They're worth it. :-)
The untried and untrue Pumpkin Pie recipe. The pies were very good. But I didn't prefer the look they had. It was too improper.
That was our breakfast. :) Ice cream, pomegranites and apple crisp. Oh, and there were a few eggs too, but the majority ate the ice cream and apple crisp.
A study on hair. And that is as close as I will get to posting pictures of faces. :p
A glorious rubberband fight we had once most others left....
Pardon me for chopping his head off so that I could post this picture, but it was such an interesting picture, I couldn't help it. :(
